Riverview Lodge & Event Center Policies

This agreement constitutes a contract between the Guest(s) and Riverview Lodge & Event Center.

CHECK IN: Check-In time is after 2:00 p.m. and Check-Out is 11:00 a.m. Instructions for access to the lodge and rooms will accompany directions to the lodge. We will use all reasonable efforts to have the lodge and rooms ready for guest occupancy at check-in time, we cannot guarantee the exact time of occupancy. Early check-in and late check-out is available. Please call for additional charges.

CABIN FURNISHINGS & EQUIPMENT: The Riverview Lodge & Event Center is privately owned with furnishings and equipment provided by the owner. Décor, style, color and themes will vary, and furnishing are subject to change without notice. The lodge kitchen is stocked with kitchen essentials and equipment.  Guests are responsible for providing their own food for dinner and preparation of their own meals. Guest are asked to clean the kitchen and all kitchen items after use. Failure to leave kitchen in a clean condition will result in a cleaning fee of one day occupancy of $150.00.

LINENS: The lodge and rooms are supplied with bed linens, towels, blankets and pillows. All linens are freshly laundered prior to your arrival. We will provide your initial supply of paper products, soaps, trash bags, etc. for your convenience.

KEYS: All keys must be returned to the designated location (left in the room) upon departure. Our lodge is privately owned, and guests are responsible for lost keys. The property must be re-keyed in the event the key is lost, misplaced or not returned. Guests will be responsible for the cost of the procedure.

DISH NETWORK: The lodge is equipped with dish network. However, this does not guarantee any programs or events.

CELL RECEPTION: Cell reception is available all around the lodge (Verizon & Viaero) and there is wireless internet in the Main Event Center.

LANDSCAPING & WATER FEATURE: Absolutely no one is to be in or on the water feature or in the landscaping (inside or outside patio lodge area). Disturbing or moving rocks or being in the water will result in the loss of the security deposit.

POOL TABLE: An adult must monitor all pool table activities. Children under the age of 10 and under 4-foot-tall are not allowed to play pool on the pool table. Do not lean on or move table as it is shimmed to be level, moving the table will make it unlevel.

FIREPLACE: Do not adjust anything on the fireplace. You can turn it on and off only. Please turn off when you leave the building.

BIG TV: This tv has a bulb for the picture and it goes out from time to time. In the event that it would go out do not remove the bulb or mess with anything on the tv, call and let us know that it is not working. Do not remove cords or change anything on the DVD player or the DISH NETWORK box.

 BARBEQUE GRILLS: The lodge is equipped with two gas grills. One at the Main Event Center and one at the picnic area. Please be sure and turn the tank off after each use on the grill at the picnic area. Please clean up all grease and food spills. Leaving either grill covered with food and grease will result in an extra cleaning charge.

SMOKING – NO SMOKING: Failure to observe this rule will result in the loss of the security deposit. If the interior of the lodge or rooms smells like cigarette smoke, we will assume you smoked inside, and the security deposit will be kept, or you will be charged an extra night. If you choose to smoke, please do so outside. Butt receptacles are provided.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE: By Nebraska Law, no drinking of alcoholic beverages by persons under the age of 21 is allowed and consumption must end by 1:00 a.m.

ROOM PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED: Guests shall not disturb or offend any neighbors, discharge any firearms around lodge area or use any fireworks of any kind in accordance with the State of Nebraska, Morrill County Laws. In order to preserve the beauty and peaceful surrounding, we reserve the right to refuse service or terminate agreements for drunken, loud or unruly behavior.

PETS: We are pet friendly and your pets are welcome to stay in the North and South Units. We do not allow any pets in the Main Event Center. No pets are allowed to be on the beds and must be in a kennel inside the room. We also have a dog kennel available for your use outside. Your pet must be on a leash or in a kennel. Please take your pet towards the trees to “do their business” or clean it up when they are done. We will charge you if we have to pick it up. You will be responsible if any damage is incurred. There will also be a pet fee of $15.00.

REPAIRS/SERVICE CALLS: We cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, TV’s, dish receivers, DVD players or other appliances. Please report any equipment that is not operating properly, and we will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Should a repair person make a call to the lodge or rooms and find equipment in working order and the problem was due to Guest(s) oversite or neglect, the charge for the service call will be the Guest(s) responsibility. Guest(s) understand and agree that we or our repair people might need access to the lodge or rooms for the purpose of making the repair.

CHECK OUT PROCEDURES: Please leave clean dished in the dishwasher. No dirty dishes should be left in the sink or on the countertops, they must all be washed in the dishwasher. To prevent any pest problems, please wipe down all counter and table tops. Please bag ALL garbage in kitchen and outside litter, including cigarette butts (please be sure there are no hot butts in receptacle-we don’t want a dumpster fire), and place in outside dumpster. Please close all the doors and windows and turn off the heat and/or air conditioner.

CLEANING FEES: A cleaning fee of $100.00 will be charged for any cleaning that may need to be done above and beyond normal use.
